The Fire follows Sarah and David Lane, who leave Augusta, Georgia with their young son in 1959, bound for Pittsburgh, and the tragedy on a Kentucky highway that fractures their family. It brings in Ayama'tu, a supernatural presence whose obsidian face reflects buried truths.
The work ahead
